A conceptual note for the plant, based on the requirements will be prepared and submitted. This note will contain
- The description of the process
- The Raw Material requirement, Material flow sheet
- Lay out of the Plant indicating the Facilities for the proposed Plant.
- Auxiliaries’ Facilities such as Utilities and Electrical System etc.
- Tentative capital cost estimate and
- A schedule for implementation of the project.
Preparation of
Basic Engineering
The Basic Engineering of the Proposed Plant Facilities will cover the following areas
A general description including function and capacity of the major equipment and plant facilities.
Preparation of Process flow sheet for the Facilities envisaged.
Preparation of P&I diagram showing location of all valves, instruments and other auxiliary equipments etc. for all the sections of the Plant.
Preparation of Specifications for Raw materials indicating the Quality and quantity of raw materials required.
Preparation of basic engineering for the Quality and Quantity of utilities required.
Preparation and submission of Single line diagram for the electrical supply and distribution system.
Preparation and Submission of Technical Procurement Specifications for the Bought out equipments in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
Preparation and submission of specifications for instrumentation and automation system including a write up on the logic flow sheet of automation and control.
Preparation of the Manufacturing drawings for the proprietary (Main Machinery items) items if any.
Preparation and submission of basic engineering drawings for Roads, Drinage and Sewarage at Plant area only.
Preparation and submission of basic engineering drawings for Material Handling System
Procurement
Assistance
Under the Procurement Assistance services we will cover the following
Preparation and Submission of Technical Procurement Specifications for Mechanical Bought out equipment, Utility Equipments, Refractory Materials, Refractory Materials
Material handling system and for any of the Proprietary Equipments (Main Machinery). The Drawings for the Main Machinery (Proprietary Equipments) along with associated accessories shall be submitted directly to the selected Manufacturer. Since these drawings are Proprietary in nature, it will not be submitted to the Client for their wetting. However, any Technical / Engineering queries on the design, material of construction, tolerances and allowances shall be clarified to the satisfaction of the Client
In addition to the above we will also prepare and Submit of Flow Diagrams showing the Terminal points transfer Chutes and Dust collection Points for Plant production Equipments to facilitate the Vendors of Pollution Control Equipments to Design and Engineer the System and submit their quotations for the Pollution Control System as a Single Unit
Our scope under this area shall cover up to only the submission of information to the Pollution Control Equipment Designer/Supplier on the Plant operating / working conditions, Materials handled, material characteristics, Material handling Equipments like Crushers, Screens, Conveyors and probable location of the Dust collection point to facilitate the Suppliers of the Pollution Control Equipments for properly design and engineer the System as whole with adequate capacity. All the Civil, Structural, Chimney and connected duct drawings and duct support drawings of Bag Filters, FD Coolers, Gas Conditioning (Cooling) Towers, ESP, ID Fan shall be supplied by the respective supplier.
However Various Tests on the Pollution control Equipments and system to be conducted by the suppliers shall also be given by us. All the Basic engineering, Detailed engineering drawings submitted by the party will be wetted by us.
Preparation of the Manufacturing drawings for the proprietary (Main Machinery items) items if any.
Technical Evaluation of the Tenders and recommendation
Submission of estimated price of the tendered equipments as per the available information
Scrutinizing and approval of the basic and detailed engineering drawings / GA Drawings and QAP submitted by the vendors for different equipment / system
Detailed
Engineering
Under Detailed Engineering Services, we cover the following
Preparation of Civil drawings based on the soil test report and Soil Bearing Capacity (SBC) furnished by the Client
Preparation and Submission of the Civil Engineering Drawings like foundations etc for the Equipment/Structure covered in the proposed Plant based on the basic information and load data furnished by the respective equipment supplier or based on the data available with us as the case may be
Preparation and Submission of constructional drawings for all civil buildings required for the plant
Preparation and Submission of constructional drawings for all civil buildings required for the plant
Preparation and Submission of Piping work for all utilities like compressed air, process water facilities, (except for firefighting facilities), HSD oil facilities and other any other utilities required for functioning of the plant along with its supporting structure
Preparation and submission of Electrical Single line diagram for the proposed plant facilities
Preparation and submission of Power Distribution System including the provision of DG set for the Emergency Supply for the proposed Plant facilities from the switch yard
Preparation and submission of MCC specifications required for supply of power to different drives
Preparation and Submission of Drawings for the Lighting and earthing for the proposed Plant facilities
Preparation and Submission of Instrumentation panel layout
Preparation and Submission of Drawings required for approval of statutory authorities
Preparation and Submission of civil drawings for Road, drainage and sewerage system required for functioning of the Plant. – Optional
Preparation and Submission of fabrication drawings for all technological structures such as equipment support, ducts, hoods, stringers, short supports, feed and discharge chutes etc for the plant. – Optional
Project Coordination &
Monitoring
The services under this category will be as follows
Overall review of progress of work and co-ordination of the project activities.
As and when it is required, Senior Executives shall be deputed to site for review the work progress.
Project
Supervision
The following activities will cover under the continuous supervision.
Deputation of engineers for continuously monitoring the day to day activities at site in respect of civil and Mechanical works
Interpretation of drawings, specifications and code of practices
Checking of the quality of construction work
Interpretation of test results submitted by Client
Advising on deployment of the workforce of contractors from time to time for meeting schedules and targets
Preparation and submission of Electrical Single line diagram for the proposed plant facilities
Final checking of the alignment of bolt holes locations and giving clearance for grouting of anchor bolts/base plates
Bill certification of site work
