Our Experience and Industry Knowledge

The back bone of this organization is Mr. M. Ramachandran who is a pioneer in Iron and Steel making Technologies in general and Sponge Iron and Mineral Processing Technologies in particular.

He is having over 37 yrs’ hands-on experience in Design Engineering, Setting up and Operations of several Iron and Steel Plants in the country.

Besides, Mr. M. Ramachandran, this Organization is blessed to have many good Technical experts who are having more than 30 years of rich Engineering and Operative experience with various Plants of Iron Ore Beneficiation, Iron Ore Pellatisation, Sponge Iron, Pig Iron, Mini Steel Plants etc.

The team of Engineers and Metallurgists are fully conversant with the Modern Engineering and Process Modifications in each of these plants and from time to time we incorporate the same in the design stage itself while designing a new plant to our customers. In addition to this we will also suggest and recommend our customers to incorporate the new techniques in any of the process industry in case of shortcomings of the previous plants.

IPS is also offering Engineering, Technical and Managerial Services in setting up of Waste Heat Recovery Kilns & Power Plants, Induction Furnace Steel Making, and Rolling Mills & Pellitisation Plants for various clients throughout the Country. We are further furnishing the List of Plants which were constructed and are under Construction in our credential part which is attached here with.

The latest assignment is to set up Iron Ore Beneficiation and Pellatisation Plant for Converting Lower Grade and Low cost Iron Ore Fines in to a value added high grade Iron Ore Concentrate. IPS along with its associate Company is already offering Engineering, Technical and Managerial Services in setting up of the Beneficiation and Pellet Plants of capacities 0.6mtpa and 1.2mtpa.

Our Human Resource is our greatest asset. Our present strength is more than 500 employees comprising Specialist Engineers and Trained Graduate Engineers and Qualified Supporting Staff representing all Disciplines of Engineering. Our rich experience has brought in a reservoir of Skills not only to Engineer and Construct major Projects but also to operate and maintain them to the Quality Standards. In addition there are separate Cells for Project Monitoring and Management of various on going Projects, to keep up the Project Schedule.

Considering the shortage of Skilled and Experienced Man Power in the Iron and Steel Industry, Mr. Ramachandran had also established a company by the name ‘Premier Engineers’ to carry out the Plant Operations and Maintenance of Sponge Iron and Steel Plants. We are already operating Plants through out the country under Annual Operations and Maintenance Contract

IPS Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd – Design Cell is fully equipped with latest Engineering Design / drafting facilities. An in house computer center is supported with fifteen desktops (Pentiums) along with Plotters, Scanners (A0 size) and Printers apart from power workstations with interactive CAD packages of large system. We have well equipped library which provides access to the latest Publications /Developments in engineering field. The Documentation Center is equipped with plain paper copier, Scanners, Laser Printers, and for an instant Communication we have electronic Data Transmission and Connectivity with Broad Band internet.

To cater to Clients requirement at arms length IPS has located its Regional Office at Chennai, Visakhapatnam, and Hyderabad apart from H.O. in Coimbatore.
